Another 3am phone call from Mum and another ride in an ambulance.

Same symptoms and same tests.
This time we waited 9hrs for a scan and she was told she had gall stones .
So she has stayed in over night and an operation to remove the gall bladder is scheduled for tomorrow.

What a hellish day. 16hrs in a hospital with no food or drink.
I have reluctantly come home leaving Mum to sleep and am now in bed.

This was my view from 7am to 6pm while we waited for tests, scans, and a bed in a ward. Mum sleeping in the bed and me in a chair unable to sleep.
