Aren’t we worthy?

Today’s blip is a shot of the Edith Cavell artwork put together by volunteers as part of Stowe’s celebration of the centenary of the first British women gaining the vote. The artwork celebrates 11 women and 1 man.

It links up with Stowe’s Temple of Worthies consisting of 11 men and one woman, commissioned in 1734/5.
