Silage
Following on from yesterday's blip, the contractors arrived late morning, and have started chopping the grass and putting it in the pit. We hope to have it all in the pit early evening, so we can go out after tea tonight and put a cover over it, and throw tyres on it to hold it down. By the time it is all in there, we should have around 400 tonne of silage. A good crop for next spring.
The cloud has come over this morning, and there have been a few threatening spots of rain. Fingers crossed it won't come to much!
Hope you all have a great weekend.
