Autumn Glory

I managed an hour of digging at my allotment after work. It was really uplifting to be there doing something productive in the fresh air. Across from my plot there are some beautifully tended allotments, including one with this cheerful display of dahlias.

It’s been the most lovely day - warm - possibly over 20 degrees - and sunny. We had a lovely walk with Merlin this morning.

I am pleased to say that six days after it went missing the dish sponge has made a reappearance and our suspicions have been confirmed - Merlin ate it!
