Progress

A dry day and sunshine even this morning. We walked Merlin, did a little shopping in the village and returned home and did the cleaning.

After lunch I went to the allotment and did some more strimming and cutting back of the bramble thicket. It’s quite an adventure cutting back into the undergrowth. Today I managed to pull out the large compost bin which several weeks back looked as though it was deeply concealed. I also planted out the last of leeks.

Dinner is now on the stove and I am looking forward to a sit down and a bath!
