Linlithgow Loch

Not a cloud and only the lightest of breezes .... autumn at its best!

Purely Patchwork in Linlithgow is one of the best shops for quilting supplies. I needed some fabrics from a specific range kept by PP so never one to turn down an outing L and I headed off to Linlithgow this morning.

Even driving along the motorway we noticed the trees clad in their autum colours.

First thing we had a coffee and scone and just in case the weather changed we walked down to Linlithgow Loch which was calm as a millpond, the glassy surface only being disturbed by the swans and their rather big cygnets.
