De Saturated Woodland

A play on words this morning. Over the last few days we have been completely saturated with dull, leaden skies. In the woods this morning the tree bark was black with water saturation but the weak colour of the low rising sun forced them into even more of a silhouette. When I got home I opened the file in raw and converted to greyscale. By reducing the exposure and adding more contrast, the picture as a black and white conveys what the trees against the sky really looked like to the naked eye.
