What's for tea?

First Sunday of the month, Farmers’ Market . . . and one of my favourite seafood delicacies are back in season. Yes , it is time to indulge my passion for winkles once again.
Okay, it may be difficult to think of these tiny sea snails with a description like “passion,” but maybe my choice of delicacies may be a trifle unusual.
It’s a bit like oysters, or escargots or frogs’ legs, even mussels. . . all the type of teatime treat I shall enjoy on a Sunday. And not just Sunday, or teatime either for that matter
Trouble is when I get the taste for these little delicacies, I cannot resist them.
So, winkles cooked, and cooled and pin to extract them from their tiny shells at the ready!
Yum
