Lacy thing

I found this in the flower bed today when I was pushing some small leaves up around my butterfly weed plants to create a mulch around the roots.

I think it might be a moonflower seed pod that has shriveled to this lace.  Of course I had to bring it inside, photograph and then add to my stash of nature things.   

I started cutting the grass early this morning and I got too hot.  The hubs started to finish it up and then the lawn mower blade was making a racket so he had to do some mechanical things.   Then it was too hot so he said he would finish the grass in the morning.
