Whitchurch Common
The bad weather of yesterday blew through during the night and this morning in East Devon was cold but dry. I whisked Jinxy out first thing then we traveled down to Dartmoor, arriving at about lunch time.
After lunch we drove across the moor to Whitchurch Common, above Tavistock. On the way we were passed, from the opposite direction, by a convey of cars and police motocycles all with flashing lights traveling so fast it was impossible to see who was in the vehicles. Much to the disappointment of Mrs M who was left wondering who it was. She will be glued to the local TV News tonight in case its mentioned.
It was about 2.30pm when we started our walk and the sun was already setting but is was mild and not too wet considering. Todays blip is of Mrs M purposely striding along the leat with Vixen Tor sticking up like a sore thumb in front of her
and the Tors in the distance are above Burrator Reservoir. Lovely walk.
Its great to be back again.
