One of our....
Particularly bonkers days!!
We started off with some clarinet practise, leaving by 8 for her ballet rehearsal. Which finished late. We set off to her clarinet lesson and realised al her music was at home. We arrived late for the lesson (without the music!). By which point I apparently looked a little frazzled! I went for coffee, Katie went for a lesson of scales practise!
I came back to get Katie and her friend ready to catch the train to Manchester for their NCO rehearsals. We collected a third child/fourth instrument on the way.
Katie had asked me to take her this month after a wobbly experience last journey, so it was nice to have that chance. It also meant I got a catch up with a friend in Manchester as a lovely treat. They all seemed to have a good time at NCO - it’s the concert at the end of the month and all their reauditions over the coming weeks! We are grateful to be in the Northern orchestra- having seen some of the other venues, we are very fortunate to be in the RNCM. This week there was a harp festival going on and Katie got to see and hear some amazing harpists and beautiful harps!
We made it back to the train with loads of time to spare. Katie was having WhatsApp chats with B who was getting on her plane heading away. There were some quiet little tears from Katie out of Bs sight.
After arriving home just after 8, we both conked out!
