Woodlark in Spain

There were at least a dozen Woodlarks (Lullula arborea) feeding across the grassy/sandy area in front of one of our hides (blinds) this morning. I don't recall having seen the species before but we may well have (we took our new edition of Collins this trip, leaving behind the old one with all our notes).

We were visiting the area of Palacio del Acebrón within the Doñana National Park, an extensive area with extensive boardwalks and several hides. The previous link is to the English Wiki page, but the Spanish one is far more extensive and informative. We've had a wonderful time so far: our group consists of eleven Brits, us and two excellent guides, one from Spain and the other originally from Ecuador.
