Heading South

It was clear and sunny when PD arrived (and I nearly gave his 'mum' a heart attack as I appeared just as she opened the door).
A few minutes later the clouds and harr started to roll in so I grabbed a shot of some Rowan berries so I had at least one shot with colour.

The Flying Rat was keeping an eye on PD while I was watching and listening to the skenes of geese heading for warmer climes - although it was still very mild today.

I did manage to get a bit of colour before the sun disappeared and the rain started.

SWMBO and I nipped out to the garden centre for coffee and scones during the afternoon. £3 for two hot drinks and two huge cream scones …… can't be bad!
