Indian Summer.
Has come to an abrupt end!
However our Indian Summer alstroemeria is standing up well to the wind and rain.
I can even spot a small insect which flew in when I was taking the photo. Think it is a wasp.
The beech tree, that looked stunning when we arrived home yesterday, is beginning to look quite bare as the wind whips at the branches and blows the leaves everywhere.
Quite a lot are landing in our garden.
Usual shopping day.
Was pleased that most of the veg. came from the UK.
Carrots from Scotland.
Mushrooms from Ireland.
Leeks from Cambridgeshire.
Celery from Lancashire.
Onions from Lincolnshire.
Potatoes from Lincolnshire.
Cabbage and broccoli from Pudsey.
Tomatoes from our garden.
Unfortunately red and green peppers from Spain.
Washing done, but no chance of it drying outside.
So fingers crossed the weather will improve for the weekend.
Hope you all have a good one.
