Ladybird Lantern

A favourite place of mine to walk in Haddington is St Mary's Pleasance - where we had our wedding photos taken last year - because it has such a wealth of different plant life. I managed to get a few interesting shots in spite of the gusts of wind which tried their hardest to make it difficult!

Another bug photo today, but at least it's not a spider this time. Does anyone know what type of plant this is? They look very much like little lanterns. A Google image search, which usually solves my plant type queries, didn't come up with anything.
