Pat's Pink

This rose is flowering beautifully just now.  It's a cutting of a rose given to neighbour Ruth, by her friend Pat, so for want of a proper name, it's known as Pat's pink!  I've moved it into a more sheltered spot, where we can see it from inside the house, as it's looking so lovely.

Another wet day, and noticeably colder.  Raked the gravel to get cover up the bits the rain had washed away, and picked some antirrhinums and cosmos that were still looking presentable.  It's been such a good year in the garden.

Bacon sandwiches with mushrooms and a fried egg for lunch!  We've got to keep our strength up!
