Newhaven, Cramond Island and back again ...

As mentioned a few days ago, the intrepid '2nd Saturday Strollers' braved the early-morning, inclement weather; and set off from Newhaven for Cramond Island!

Main snap shows our eventual approach to the Island — with various extras showing the  entrance-sign for Granton Castle Walled Garden (which was most impressive in scale!); the 'Doocot' inside the walled Garden; the nearby Social Bite Village; and our eventual return from Cramond Island :-)

Despite the weather, an excellent day was had by all :-))
