Flooding of the River Aude

So I’m typing this at Beziers airport, where we’ve arrived a little early to ensure, well, to ensure we get here at all! Last night it was like a river was upended on top of us, and the local news is reporting thirteen deaths so far, several of them not far from where we were, due to flooding. Bridges have been washed out, and even now the rain is pouring down on us. Hopefully the plane will be able to land... and take off. This shot was taken on our way this morning, as the raindrops played across the windscreen...
