Tiny Tuesday - aBlutions*

* yup, see, I did it again.

There can be little more today as simply joyous as the half hour I lay in the wet grass watching this bee go through his ablutions. Sat atop a mushroom beside the pond, he gathered dew drops from the grass and rubbed them all over. Here, you can see him managing his quiff.

The light was dreadful of course, not merely the grey overcast autumnal sky but the shadow from the pond wall. I used a ring flash, which you can just make out in the foreground dew drop, but even so had to push on to ISO 8000 - so there is considerable noise. But oh it was lovely to see.

I've put another shot in the extra. I have quite a few to go through!
