Not done one of these for a while, but it's that time of year again, and as it's Monday night, the North Kessock Lifeboat crew are out training.

Took the day off. Well, booked it off a couple of weeks ago. Dentist and (dental) Hygienist appointments this afternoon. Before cycling into town for that, had cycled over to Ffordes of Beauly with two cameras and three lenses. Came back with a battery charger, which included a battery. As the battery normally costs more than I paid for the pair, and it's in near new condition, compared to the 'last-legs' one I currently have for the associated camera, something of a bargain has been had.

Total cycling distance today must be about 45 miles - quite good for the heavy old hybrid bike, and more than I've done in ages. There was also a mile swum in the pool this evening, and a load of victuals in the pannier for the return hills. Should sleep well tonight, if my calves don't cramp up. Will be somewhat jaded tomorrow...
