"Curses, foiled again!"

Dear Diary,

Gaylord tried his best to break into the cans holding the sunflower seeds which are now on the back porch as I prepare for foul weather.  He was not successful needless to say.  It was fun to watch him try different approaches and then give up in frustration.

A bit frustrated myself this morning as I have been without power since 1:30am.  High winds took out the power for 65,000 homes.  My new generator is getting its first test and is performing admirably. The heat is working, which is a relief.  I have to go for some blood work and I wondered if the automatic garage door would open but it does so I can get out.  Never a dull moment around here!
