Cake by the Ocean!

Seems Dr Gateau works at La Rochelle Hospital which is situated by the Atlantic Ocean, but rather disappointedly he wasn't the anaesthetist I saw this morning in preparation for my op next week. I was surprised not to be checked physically that I was fit for the anaesthetic as would be done in the UK, but hopefully I am! After 60 years together, my thyroid and I are parting company, in case you are curious!
The other photos are sights seen in La Rochelle as we stopped for coffee/Leffe before going home. The dogs are pleased to have us back and Elvis has grown out of his harness.
