Mount Grace Priory

A very lazy start to the day. I had the best night's sleep I've had for a long time and for the first time in ages actually felt refreshed!

We took the scenic route over to Mount Grace Priory, stopping a couple of times along the way for photos. The moors were lovely in autumn colours. We didn't go round the house but spent our time out among the ruins. Lots of photos to view. 

After a late picnic lunch we headed cross country to Ampleforth Abbey to their bookshop (dangerous!) and tea room.

The weather has been lovely today, an added bonus.
