Woke up to rain today so decided to jump in the car and head South where we hoped it would be less rainy. As we were driving we noticed a castle on a hill so we turned off and headed towards it. Turned out to be an amazing little village on the hillside with twisty cobbled streets and a tower on top of the hill with great views. Great for exploring and the sun came out.

We spent the afternoon beach hopping, being chased by rain clouds. Ended up at the point north of San Teodoro. Very rough and rugged coast line and not another soul in sight.

We also saw a huge flock of wild flamingos. There is a lagoon near where we are staying and you can see them from the road. We tried to get a boat trip to go up close but apparently they stop running it in September, which is a shame as there are still flamingos about and tourists! Have to make do with glimpses from the road as there is no where to stop and access the lagoon where they seem to congregate.
