Ferris wheel

Got round to starting my essay for uni in the morning, and then I met Emily at the Champs Elysées at 4, along with an assistant friend of hers, Laura, who she'd bumped into on the train and invited along.

We walked down the Christmas market, and went on the big ferris wheel at the end which had amazing views of Paris. We then walked down the stalls on the other side of the road (picking up hot wine and various snacks on the way) and all the way to the Arc de Triomphe at the end, which we later realised was actually 5 metro stops from the ferris wheel at the other end. Good exercise.
We got the metro to Saint Michel and went to a pizza place there for dinner, before heading home. It was a very nice evening, and Laura is the first assistant I've met who seems to be in exactly the same situation as me; living in her school and finding it lonely and quiet most of the time sigh.
