Winter garden

A morning of measuring and checking, that was after I set off the alarm. Amazingly, no-one came to find out what was wrong.

It was cold today, frozen puddles and skitey underfoot. However, it was dry and after I got back I chopped down some more perennials and picked up large wet, deadly brown sycamore leaves that were beginning to kill the grass. The Council finally emptied the brown bins yesterday.

And then tonight to the Festival theatre with E for a wonderful performance of 'The Magic Flute'. We were well uip in the gods, but it was worth it. Great night.

It was raining when we came out. that winter garden, I wonder what I'll have by spring?
