Welfare

An inspiring and uplifting day.

First thing to the Pleasance with Sheila Gilmore MP who was being interviewed by members for the newsletter 'Oot and Aboot'. The subject was the upcoming welfare reforms and how it will affect them and those with disabilities. She was very knowledgeable and answered a whole raft of questions. On the way back I joined the MacDonald Holyrood gym - lunchtime swim anyone?

In the afternoon it was down to Logie Green to present end of term certificates and a free Scottish Book trust book to 4 young women who'd completed an introduction to IT course. Well done!

And finally, after a late evening in the office, off to a Thai restaurant for the choir's social evening and as all choirs do, we sang. Well I sang a little, but the food was good!
