The start of a biking adventure...

...on a ferry across the Tyne to South Shields and beyond...
A few geraniums in a little window-box for Flower Friday, and a spot of dereliction next to the ferry landing to start us off. Then a Belgian warship being escorted up the river ( see extra ). And finally Sue inside the light at the top of Souter Lighthouse ( see extra ). A little detour on the way back via the Marina for a neb.
28k on the bikes, and a wonderful ice cream at Minichella's just made the day!
