Occitan (or Catalan?) abstract

At this time of year it doesn't seem surprising that the Occitan, as well as the Catalan, colours are red and yellow, when the vine leaves change whole swathes of landscape to match the flag. I've put a photo of one of these vineyards, taken this morning, here, but I liked this more lasting, more abstract version too.

Catalunya isn't very far from here - it's our neighbour and its land begins before the official border, including Perpignan and Roussillon - and today is an important moment when there is an election which could lead to a referendum being held to allow the people to decide on the issue of independence from Spain. As I believe that political responsibility should be as locally devolved as possible, I'm following events in Catalunya very closely.
