End of the day

It was rather hot in Sydney, and mother Yasmin & baby Emlyn had a very long day today. Yas sings in my group, El Coro, and we had a 3 hour rehearsal and a big concert this arvo & evening, followed by an excellent Vietnamese dinner with all the performers, their families and friends. But before that, Yas, Emlyn, dad Greg, grandma Terry and toddler Issy had all been to a playgroup birthday party! They lasted the distance, but by around 10pm and after yet another breastfeed, Yas was well and truly ready to go home.
