More autumn colours

We awoke to another glorious autumn day - bright sunshine and blue skies. Like the rest of Europe, Switzerland enjoyed a memorable summer and now a beautiful, dry autumn.

After breakfast we set off on a final walk before we had to go to Zurich to get our flight home. It was an easier walk than yesterday, and we all got too warm on the steep ascents.

The walk was followed by a coffee at our favourite cafe and then back to the apartment. A light lunch and then we left for Zurich. The weather down the valley towards Zurich was strange, very warm and very misty and hazy.

I have not had much time for journals, I will catch up when we are home again.
