Fly Me To The Moon

As we walked Merlin this evening the moon was in the sky along with a powered paraglider - at one point the paraglider nearly went across the front of the moon - like ET on his bike back to wherever he came from!

A lovely sunny day, felt almost spring-like.  We had two walks with Merlin and spent some time finalising the design for the back garden.  Later this afternoon I popped down to the allotment for a few hours.  I planted some of the garlic I bought last week and put down some manure onto the beds I've dug - hoping it will rot down over the winter.  I also dug over (again) the two areas of old compost which are at the front of the plot.  They were full of rubbish and weeds so I having to work through the soil again and again, each time removing the debris I don't want in it.  Eventually I will use the soil on some of the beds and get a new compost holder so I can make some new compost of my own!

It is Saturday night so it is curry night!  Tonight we had a southern pepper curry - it had hints of cardamon, cinnamon and clove and was delicious.
