Inbetween the Beeches

What a lovely October day. I (Chris) got the mower out for probably the last cut of the season. Out front lawn has yet to really recover from the scorching this summer so is really mainly weeds but the back lawn is altogether different. Plenty of grass there.

After a few chores in town, we headed over Burnham Beeches for a walk in the trees. It was lovely and warm and a real pleasure to be out. The trees are still relatively green so it was fun finding where the light was breaking through. 

At the end of the afternoon there was quite a sunset (see the first extra) and a couple more from Burnham.
