Ivy

We were watching the wasps and bees feeding on the ivy flowers by the canal. At this time of year they provide late nectar for a lot of insects.  I took a few snaps, and am quite pleased with this one of a bee homing in on the flowers. 

The extra is a still life - a few things atop a moored narrowboat, it has a seasonal flavour.
