Ivy Nectar

Lots of ivy in our back garden, which means lots of ivy flowers at this time of year.

Which results in ...... lots of wasps feasting on the precious nectar. It’s important they feed up before the frosts arrive (which seems to be getting later into the year these days). 

Photographing wasps was not on my garden list when I started with cutting the lawn. Ivy flowers and wasps, another sign that we are well into autumn.

Ivy flowers remind me of Jacks, the children’s game.
