Apple of his Eye
It's been ages since we've had squirrels in the garden, and despite them being the greys, it was still nice to see a couple today scavenging spilled peanuts, and, in this case, fallen apples.
Got out to a couple of Scottish Wildlife Trust reserves in the afternoon, bumping me up to 10 of the 120 total (I'm planning on visiting all 120 during my three year tenure as a Trustee). Milkhall Pond especially, while small, was pretty as a picture.
The morning had a wander round the park, watching the young swans wing testing; the early evening a sorting out of the garage. A touch shattered.
