Hospital

I've been a bit out of blip touch for a couple of days while we've been down to Wapping to meet grandson#2. Although the birth was much more straightforward than grandson#1 my daughter was kept in hospital longer, partly because they needed to check a few things, partly because it was the weekend and everything routine seems to grind to a halt then. So we ended up having to stay the night in their small house to do some big brother sitting duties.

When #1 (Rory) was born in 2015 mrsfb missed all the action as she was very poorly in intensive care at the time, with only a 50:50 chance of pulling through. She has pretty much fully recovered now and is I feel she is going to be very involved with #2 (Joseph).

The extra shows the view from the hospital restaurant. It's a very strange building design. To get from the 8th floor where my daughter was to the restaurant on the 5th floor you have to take the lift to the ground floor, walk about half a mile, and then take another different lift to the 5th floor. The lifts don't have buttons inside. You have to request your floor on the panel outside, and then are directed to choose a particular lift which has been programmed with your floor request.
