Light at the end

It's been a little bit of a rollercoaster of a week. My emotional range has been stretched from sadness to joy to disappointment to laughter to doubt to blood boiling rage. This is not like me and has left me feeling quite exhausted.

Thankfully today has been full of light. A couple of stunningly bright cycle rides surrounded by the most vivid autumn colours, the joy of Ellie Harper on top form and a few of the most beautiful sentences from a girl who has been mute and wracked with anxiety since we met her.

Four days until half term. I'm looking forward to long walks, hilly runs, good food and Felicity Ward. Joy.
