-Bembridge Rainbow

After 14 hours of continuous rain followed by a night of high winds, this morning was drier for a while before some heavy showers tracked in. At least it allowed for a bracing walk on Culver Down before more rain set in for the afternoon. Going back to the car I was caught in a heavy squall which passed over Bembridge Harbour leaving this splendid rainbow.

Although the Island is under a yellow flood alert with yet more rain forecast for tomorrow, so far we have not been subjected to the very serious flooding which is causing such chaos in the South West.
