Cross Mute Swan....

as a huge flock of Whoopers have landed on his loch! He is part of a resident pair and the migrants have all arrived for food, having travelled from Spitzbergen. They will continue further south when they have rested.
Lots of Geese have arrived too and the Redwings and Fieldfares are finishing the Rowan stripping.
