Light shining through old man's beard

This beautiful weather is killing me - but the garden is looking good! Another fantastic day, more areas cleared, the last of the apples and some cranberries harvested. It was so gorgeous I was almost seduced into having a swim - the mind was keen but the body was not - a refusal. Instead I sat on a rock with my feet in the water and had a contemplation.

A wild sunset, excellent chips and a superb film last night - one of the best we have seen for sometimes. Highly recommended if you get a chance: Leave No Trace is set in Oregon and follows the story of a father and daughter who, by choice, live in the forest and lead a very satisfactory life.The state sees them as homeless of course and attempts to normalise them ...... Amazing performances by the two leads, believable and thought-provoking.

And today's blip - light shining through old man's beard growing on top of of a  small bridge with views to St James Church! And a fishing boat leaving a silvery trail.
