A Stroll Along The Prom

We strolled down into town this morning and along about half of what is a very long and pleasant seafront, enjoying the welcome sunshine and sea air.

We stopped at a cafe our fellow diners had told us about last night to sample some excellent apple tarts and watch the world go by, then strolled back, stopping for a tapas lunch, before an afternoon by the pool in the company, in my case, of CJ Sansom's "Lamentation", the sixth book in his Shardlake series. Like the others, it's hard to put down but I did manage to do so long enough for a few lengths of the pool.

We're planning to relax and not do a great deal this week. The extra shows other people doing much the same on the volcanic black sand at Playa Martiniaz.
