These lil buggers stuck to the tips of my fingers like a second set of fingerprints.

Inspired by these 'Treatilicious' shoes: http://www.irregularchoicestore.co.uk/3501-6E-26.html, my solution to the redesign/repurpose/scrap the shoebox project for Concept+Layout was a total redesign - a la Irregular Choice-fashion+flare - complete with over-the-top shine and shimmer. Oh, and of course, how could I forget - the iconic Irregular Choice garden gnome. I was inches away from reaching for the glitter.

(Darn - Out of Stock!!! Otherwise, I would soooo buy these shoes: http://www.irregularchoicestore.co.uk/3608-01C-22.html.)

Besides, I had to put my 99 cents worth of purply-pink sequins from Dressew to good use - almost used a whole mini-ziplock bag's worth. (Hmm...there's got to be a generic name for these plastic baggies - this is in line with the whole tissue-kleenex issue.)

A tip for all you scrapbookers and gluestick-lovers: http://www.acherryontop.com/company/pioneer/96417. BEST. GLUESTICK. EVER. Super duper sticky and most important of all - non-toxic: I tested that myself, several times over;p The gooey leftovers can be wiped off of slick and shiny surfaces (like technicoloured sequins) with water. And not to mention, it adheres photographs to the grooved surfaces of lil kiddie wooden alphabet blocks purchased from the dollar store like a charm - oh yes, I speak with experience here as well.

In case you were curious, that's a Joe Fresh baby shoe. I bought these for my honorary niece, lil angel Nicole, but they remind me so much of my favourite pair of petite pink shoes that I wore as a lil girl that I am very tempted to keep them. I heart Joe Fresh:)

Now, if only I could simply press Ctrl-I to view where all those runaway, near-invisible lil sequins skedaddled off to - on the kitchen linoleum, on my black and white Ikea blanket, on the carpet...

TYPE OF OFFENSE: shoe-hoarding
SUSPECT: a reminescent shoe-hogger
VICTIM: my honorary niece, Nicole - it's okies, lil babie, I'll buy you something else: a mocking bird, a diamond ring...oh, wait, I can't afford that.
