Ruperra Castle

Ruperra Castle ruin, a couple of miles from my house,  has been an abandoned for many years after the owner failed to get planning permission to turn it into apartments and houses; this was mostly down to a local campaign to prevent it - not one I agreed with. It was for sale at £2million and it looks like its sold with the new owner having barricaded it and has got rid of the vegetation surrounding it.

The blipfoto is of the east side and is two photo's joined together. Another lovely day.

This afternoon I babysat granddaughter Amelia who's off nursery with a virus. She slept about two hours in my arms - I daren't move!
