Rainbow

Earlier in the week, MrM saw a desk in a junk an antique shop that he thought would be OK in the 'Music room'. Yesterday, I spotted the very same desk being advertised on the internet, but at a much lower price. So we contacted the owner, met her at the shop, and bought it this afternoon!

Having manhandled the desk in to the back of the car, we continued on to Alnwick; as we drove the sky turned black, and the rainbow appeared for a short time before the heavens opened! Took this through the car window as we travelled - not sure whether the black dots are birds or dirt on the glass!

After a meal at Carlo's, we had a trip to the DIY shop, and tackled a supermarket shop (the shopping just about fitted in to the car around the desk) before coming home. The desk is now installed in the 'Music room', the shopping unpacked and put away, and we're shattered! About to slump in front of the TV with a glass of something...
