Backlit Autumn Trees
Busy morning starts with replacing the light in the back yard. With GMT starting tonight, while it means lighter mornings for a few weeks more, it means a dark ride home. Nice to be able to see what I am doing. It is very cold, so handling the small nuts and bolts is challenging when the cold gets to the fingers. So in between, I dash inside to warm up a little before carrying on.
Also the dishwasher is being replaced. It couldn't be repaired this time. So I disconnect the old one and move the old one to the back yard for pick up by the delivery people.
Its all done by 12:30, so I even manage to do some bike maintenance.
During lunch, the new dishwasher is delivered. All the delivery guys have to do is unpack it as I will install it.
After lunch I walk down to Morningside through Braidburn Valley Park. While its cold, the sun is shining providing a backlight to the autumn leaves that remain on the trees. In Morningside, I visit a couple of charity shops, then head to the supermarket for a couple of things, before heading home for coffee.
I install the new dishwasher after coffee.
Nice to have a relaxing evening. I catch up with Constantine, and now a beer while watching the final episode of Mystery Road.
