4 Years!

And still loving it!

And to celebrate, I offer you five images from my trip to Stourhead this morning because I couldn't choose between them! It was a glorious morning but I had to defrost the car before I could make the hour long journey - and I wanted to be there sharp, whilst there were fewer people and the weather was bright and sunny. I arrived at 9.15, ahead of the crowds. Most of the other folk there at that time were photographers with their cameras and tripods :). I'd wanted to try some long exposures but it was so windy that the leaves on the trees were blowing all over the place giving me very impressionist results. Lots of the brightest leaves, especially the red ones, had already fallen but there was still plenty of colour to be captured. The lovely blue sky was rapidly disappearing behind dark cloud by the time I left again late morning, so I was pleased I made the effort to get there early.

This evening has been spent with some lovely friends that I haven't seen for far too long, so lots of catching up over a delicious meal! My friends deliberated over my images to help choose my main blip but, in the end, I went for the one I felt made the best thumbnail!

I posted a load of backblips from last year's trip to Uganda earlier today. If you'd care to take a look, they're all around this one! I still have this year's trip to post but they're coming and then I shall have an unbroken record of the past 4 years - sometimes backblipped but always posted against the date taken!

Today's blip for my b&w journal is here!

Thank you all so much for sticking with me, even though I comment so much less often than I used to! I still love hearing from you, and browsing your journals when I can, but those of you who have been around a while will understand the need to regain some of my life, although I have no intention of stopping blipping!
