Holibobs!

Well, not really proper holibobs, but I had booked the afternoon off work so I could travel by train to meet my mother at Victoria station and we could travel together by tube to meet my S-i-L in Kensington who then drove us both to Wiltshire where we joined my brother, his son and partner.

Here's a think; When your parent has a sibling your relationship to that person is Aunt or Uncle to Nephew or Niece; and if that parent's sibling has a partner then that other person is also Aunt or Uncle, even though there is no shared blood line, only marriage (or not, as the case may be). So can I describe my Nephew's partner as my niece? Can Cousins refer to each others' partners as cousins also? Why not?

So anyway, here are some views of Chatham taken on a Sunny but cold Friday afternoon as I set off to spend the weekend in the countryside with family.
