SCHOENBRUNN
With a view upon the Gloriette.
The day started rather sombre, and I watched the silly images in the galleries. Again I felt amazed by all those absurd and funny scenes.
I commented and soon I will give silly hearts. Believe me, not an easy task to perform.
We took the metro to Schoenbrunn, descended and walked with so many other humans towards the palace. But we walked as far as we could in the eastern direction, till we reached the hothouses.
From there we walked uphill, behind the Zoo. There is a botanical garden, with exotic trees and bushes. We saw a brown squirrel, searching for nuts. And another one, a bright red one. Taking pictures, but they were no good. We liked the quiet part of the park very much.
We followed our path and two men walked towards us. One of them we recognized, it was Sebastian Kurz, the chancellor of Austria. He greeted us, and we greeted back. We found it a neat gesture. He wore a brown woolen hat, which covered his head, but we saw his eyes.
We walked till we reached the Gloriette, and had a fabulous view of the palace in the distance. The sun was shining now, this felt so much better.
We ate our sandwich while resting on a bench.
And watched the international public around us.
Then we walked down the hill, till we reached the palace.
Admired for a while also the Roman ruine and the Obelisk on our way out.
The metro brought us back home.
