Golden Beech

A beautiful day, albeit really cold.  I was on crossing duty so amused myself for an hour while the 'Ladies' had fun.

At the moment the beech trees that are often found lining the tracks between the evergreen plantations of Cannock Chase are at their most radiant.  With the help of the sun, backlit they take on a special glow.
